Privacy

Everything runs in your browser and nothing you type is uploaded. What the site does and does not collect.

The short version

What you type into a tool stays on your device. The tools run in your browser, and there is no server that receives your text, files, passwords, numbers or JSON.

What this site does not do

  • It does not ask you to create an account.
  • It does not use cookies or tracking scripts.
  • It does not load fonts, scripts or images from other websites. Every file comes from this site.

What the web server sees

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep ordinary access logs: your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type. This is how web servers work and it is used for security and fixing problems. These logs do not contain anything you type into a tool, because that never reaches the server.

Statistics and ads

Today the site collects no statistics. If privacy-friendly statistics that do not use cookies are ever switched on, or ads are ever added, this page will be updated first to say what is counted and which third parties are involved, and where the law requires it you will be asked for consent before anything loads.

Storage on your device

The tools do not save anything in your browser: close or reload the page and what you typed is gone. The one thing this site remembers is your colour theme (light, dark or system), kept in your browser's local storage so the page looks the same next time. It is only a preference, it is never sent anywhere, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.
